[foul feast][infuse condition] wins out on my Bomber.

I've been a fan of Empathic Removal for a while. A good no-spec elite on a build that doesn't depend on elites (mm).

Well...before they changed Aura of the Lich I loved MM-ing like this

But now that's gone the way of the tazmanian tiger

so I've fallen back to OoU like most everybody...

Bone Fiends have a higher attack rate than other Animated minions, iirc.

OoU @ 16 Death Magic is +17 Damage.

Horrors attack every ~3 seconds.

Fiends attack every ~2 seconds.

10 Horrors = ~30 attacks in 10 secs which is +510 damage.

10 Fiends = ~50 attacks in 10 secs which is +850 damage.

(this is under perfect conditions however, and will rarely turn out this way. Plus 50 sacrifices of 2% of you health without healing would kill you. :P )

Fiends are much less likely to survive however - say goodbye to that 25 energy investment.
Though, the theoretical damage difference is actually greater than what Grim said; fiends attack every 1.93 seconds and Horrors every 3.17 seconds.

Your team's monks or healers shouldn't have any worries healing you after the sacrifice. If they do struggle... well take an ER Infuser or a Necro healer, or something.

In a sense you are right, but also consider the fact that fiends are range fighters, so they are further from the fray. If there are also melee chars in the team, they are more likely to survive.

I would at least bring shamblings with fiends though for the extra protection. But I do love the damage from fiends especially with MoP.

That is the greatest drawback of fiends, their armor. (53 armor at lvl 18) However with Soul Reaping that 25e turns into ~13e, much more manageable. Also Fiends are much easier to maintain when you have 7-10 of them. A few will always die (minions die a lot, something you get used to as a mm) so you should be making more all the time, coupled with OoU, and BotM. But I'm rambling.

holy shitting sweet virgin mary mother of jesus wtf are you trying to say? damage per second? damage per use of OoU? wtf? it's a pretty significant factor, the rate at which the two methods differ by as much as 340 damage. i would even say that the significance can be as much as 400!

That's not the important bit. The important bit, is that they tend to clump together a lot and nukers are plentiful in PvE.

Per use of OoU, and I explained it here:
